Medusa's Silence Planter

Medusa's Silence Planter - the gorgon with her eyes closed and a crown of snakes holding your favourite plant. A floating Medusa head with a calm, closed-eye face, a snake on her forehead and thick, scaly snakes looping around both sides, standing on a two-step octagonal plinth. The top is cut flat into a wide opening, so the snake ends frame the plant. The bowl is deep, and an 11 mm drainage hole runs through the plinth. A matching octagonal drip tray comes with every planter; small ribs inside it keep the planter off any standing water.

5.5 in: 5.5 in tall x 6.7 in wide x 5.7 in deep / 14 x 17 x 14.6 cm. Opening about 4.6 x 3.6 in (about 3.1 in across at its narrowest). Best planted directly, or with a 2.5 in nursery pot. Holds about 0.57 L of soil. 7 in: 7 in tall x 8.6 in wide x 7.3 in deep / 17.8 x 21.8 x 18.6 cm. Opening about 5.9 x 4.7 in. A 3 in nursery pot drops in fully. Holds about 1.23 L of soil. Both sizes come with their drip tray. The bowl is deep, so if you plant directly, put a layer of gravel or clay pebbles in the bottom first.

3D printed in PLA in San Jose, California, when you order. Fine layer lines are part of the look; bare PLA can soak up a little moisture, so a plastic nursery pot inside is the easiest way to plant. Keep away from heat (a hot car, a dishwasher, direct summer sun through glass): PLA softens at about 55 C / 130 F. Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Colours on screen vary a little from the real filament. Message me if you want a colour that is not listed.
